When a bottle collar keeps spinning, stops too early, or sits at an angle, the first place to look is the thread connection. A collar that feels tight is not necessarily seated correctly.
Use clean, dry parts from the same confirmed bottle model and reset the connection without force.
Recognize a crossed thread
A crossed collar may lean to one side, catch after a partial turn, leave an uneven gap, or become difficult to remove. Stop tightening as soon as the connection feels wrong.
Clean and inspect both thread surfaces
Remove the collar and check the bottle neck and inner collar for residue, dents, warping, or a damaged ridge. Use the cleaning method approved for the model and dry the threads before trying again.
Start level and turn slowly
Place the collar directly above the neck, keep it level, and turn with light pressure. If it catches, remove it and restart.
If repeated correct assembly still fails, compare the collar with the model’s official part listing and contact support rather than substituting a similar piece.
